Objective
To design, develop and brand a new hotel booking web site, utilising a real time connection to a hotel affiliate network, filtering content to only 3* plus accommodation. The onsite search function will allow results to be selected from a number of variables, including city, number of rooms, number of guests, check-in dates and number of nights. Having chosen their accommodation, the customer must then be able to pay securely online.
Solution
Avatar created a branded web site that was attractive, with an elegant design to match EliteRoom's focus on the higher end of the hotel accommodation market, accessible and easy to use, with huge search-engine viability. Avatar developed an extensive booking engine system which connects to an external web service, a hotel affiliate network, using XML and SOAP technologies, and SSL secure server certificates for customer confidence.
